ICP4Life 5th General Assembly Meeting

On September 27-28 the 5th ICP4Life General Assembly meeting took place in Stuttgart, Germany, hosted by Fraunhofer IAO. The objectives of the meeting were:

Analysis of the latest project results.
The development progress of the ICP4Life Designer, Customizer and Planner components.
The presentation of the first ICP4Life functional demo prototype.
Planning of the next development steps.

FoF Conference 2016

The ICP4Life partner TECNALIA participated in the Factories of the Future conference, 2016. Factories of the Future Conference 2016: Materialising Factories 4.0, aimed to bring together Europe’s leading experts in industrial research and innovation to debate major priorities for the future of manufacturing in Europe.The purpose was to present the ICP4Life project, rase awareness of the PSS and of the project goals in european R&D community.

8th CIRP IPSS CONFERENCE

ICP4Life participated in the 8th CIRP IPSS conference that took place in Bergamo, Italy. The aim of the IPSS 2016 (Product-Service Systems across Life Cycle) conference was to promote new knowledge in the Product-Service Systems field along all its life cycle phases and facilitate its dissemination among academics and practitioners.

The purpose of the consortium was to raise awareness about the ICP4Life project. Discussions on common topics with other relevant projects were also made and new ideas about dissemination and exploitation activities were generated. The ICP4Life poster and the flyer was presented and distributed to conference participants.

BIEMH Exhibition

The ICP4Life patrner TECNALIA participated in the BIEMH exhibition 2016, that took place in Bilbao, Spain. The BIEMH is a market driven event that shows off the latest trends and needs of industries and bring visitors and delegates up to date in the field of manufacturing.

TECNALIA participated in a scientific conference within the exhibition and talked about the Product-Service Systems, their role in manufacturing and the goals of the project. The target group and the audience of this conference were spanish SMEs and large companies.

EFFRA FoF Impact Workshop

ICP4Life participated in the EFFRA FoF Impact workshop 2016, that took place in Brussels, Belgium. The workshop aimed at reporting on the success and impact of a selection of ongoing and completed projects from FP7 and Horizon 2020.

ICP4Life consortium members presented the work so far regarding the Product Service systems and exchanged information with other HORIZON 2020 projects, about the exploitation strategies and PSS in general.

Game Changers in Oil & Gas

In the concept of ICP4Life there are also services which support the maintenance of industrial equipment. Therefore, ICP4Life partner INERTIA participated in the Game Changers in Oil & Gas event which refers to predictive maintance of oil and gas infrastructure.

The ICP4Life idea and technology was presented and advertised within more than 100 participants coming from industry, scientific community, and large companies such as SHELL and TNO. This participation will also improve project’s versatility plan for the exploitation purpose.

Smart Industry Fieldlab

ICP4Life partner INERTIA participated in the CAMINO meeting, organised by the Smart Industry Fieldlab, and took place in University of Twente, Enschede, the Netherlands. The purpose of this meeting was to generate new ideas through brainstorming, initiate living labs and focus on the condition-based mainetnance. The contribution of the ICP4Life project in maintenance was presented in more that 50 participants coming from industry and academia.
